Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) basics
March 18, 2022Summary
This free webinar will discuss cardiopulmonary arrest as it occurs under anesthesia,
and the prognosis of this event. Learning objectives will include causes of cardiopulmonary
arrest, both basic and advanced life support CPR as an interventions, monitoring during CPR
and the importance of tailoring the post resuscitation phase when we achieve return of
spontaneous circulation. Full disclosure: CPR as a didactic meeting, without hands on learning,
will be of limited value, so I highly encourage the learner to pursue a hands on training session
as well.
